About The Artist
This work, combining old photos with perspective diagrams, is from a series, Hidden Geometry, dedicated to exploring my heritage and family relations. I realized, already well into adulthood, that to find myself, I had to know my parents. Fortunately the world political situation was entering a period of detente in the late 1970s, a momentous shift which allowed us to travel together to the place of their origins, China. That has made all the difference.
