About The Artist
Pacia Sallomi spent 13 years working as a homebirth midwife in New Mexico before changing careers to study art and eventually teaching at a university in Wisconsin for 23 years. She is a professor emerita since retiring in 2021 and returning to the bay area where she grew up. Her work has been included in over a hundred national and international juried exhibitions and 26 solo shows. She has attended art residencies in Italy, Australia and France
