My artwork draws from the direct contact with nature as we experience the land and coastal regions of California. There is a lovely light that graces the state and fills the atmosphere with possibility and inspiration. Raw nature tends to entrain our mind with an overload of sensation and emotion, which is essential to the direct experience of being, it gets us out of our normal state of mind, freeing us to go beyond our normal lives.
