I work intuitively and seek express feeling and emotion – in other words to capture what you cannot see. I start with an idea, a mood, a memory, or something similar and then move quickly to express that. As the painting takes shape I slow down, reflect, and refine in order to communicate my vision most effectively. My home is where I recharge and am safe. Home and garden, as well as places near water, often are reflected in my work.
