Collaged Ink Painting

Reflow is about transformation—the process of change from one form to another. When we pay attention, we notice there is metamorphosis all around us. Gall wasps (Cynipidae), create oak galls to host larvae until they grow wings and fly away. When combined with iron, those oak galls can be transformed into black ink—ink that holds potential for myriad forms of communication. When we turn inward, we can observe our own process of change and allow certain voices to speak.
