About The Artist
Peter Stein’s large-scale figurative drawings are centered on themes of empathy, growth, our inner life, and the human condition. He’s fascinated by the interplay of light and shadow and works to capture the instant when movement and meaning fuse to create a moment expressing universal subjects. Also a children’s book author and illustrator, Peter lives in Petaluma with his family and very large dog.
