About The Artist
Federica Armstrong is a photographer and visual artist, born in Italy and living in Palo Alto, CA. Drawing from her background in documentary and editorial photography, Armstrong's art practice explores themes of memory, belonging and place through the use of both digital and alternative processes. Her work has been exhibited in numerous venues in US and Europe including de Young Museum in San Francisco, The Griffin Museum in Boston, and Harvard Art Museum among others.
