About The Artist
Hasani Tyus is a Detroit born and Oakland, CA based artist and designer whose work has been featured in the de Young Open exhibition as well several Detroit based exhibitions. His work focuses on the human condition, exploring one's mental landscape and traversing shifting identities at the intersection of race, sex and gender.
